Constructed during the Lanna Period (1297 AD-1411 AD) Chiang Mai reflects the glory, splendor and nobility of that rich historical era.  Proceed to a local market to see and feel the pulsating tempo of the Thais going about their daily errands. Exotic fruits, local delicacies, reasonably-priced clothes galore and the hustle and bustle of market life await your discovery.

After dinner, head out and watch some local Muay Thai Boxing.
